America's 1st Nutcracker™ returns! This magical production remains as relevant and engaging and joyous today as when Willam Christensen created it in 1944. Performed exclusively by Ballet West since 1955, the timeless Christensen choreography, now recognized as a Living Historic Landmark by the State of Utah, has become a holiday tradition that continues to captivate audiences. The Ballet West company brings its fresh interpretation and energy to every performance, enchanting audiences of all ages.

- There is no dress code for the ballet. Wear whatever is most comfortable for you. Please do not wear hats, as they can obstruct views.
- Be respectful of your fellow audience members. Please refrain from talking or using your phone during the performance.
- Know when to applaud. We love hearing your appreciation for the dancers, but please refrain from hollering or shouting during a performance.
- Eating is not allowed in the theatre. Please use the intermission(s) as a chance to enjoy a snack in the lobby. Water in a sealable container is allowed in the theatre.
- Photos, videos, and recordings of any kind are strictly prohibited.
- Smoking and vaping are prohibited.
- Pets are not allowed. Trained service animals are always welcome.
