Joined Ballet West: 2023

William Lynch is originally from Seattle, Washington. He joined Ballet West II in 2021 and was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2023. He began his dance training at Pacific Northwest Ballet School under the direction of Peter Boal, Timothy Lynch, and Le Yin, as well as at the Lynch Dance Institute, directed by Alexandra Dickson.

At age 15, William was accepted into the School of American Ballet, where he trained on the Andrei Kramarevsky Scholarship. While at SAB, he performed in workshop performances, lecture demonstrations, and participated in the New York Choreographic Institute. He also had the opportunity to perform with the New York City Ballet at the David H. Koch Theater. Since joining Ballet West, William has performed featured roles including the Lead Men’s Regiment in George Balanchine’s Stars and Stripes, the Jester in Sir Frederick Ashton’s Cinderella, as well as roles in William Forsythe’s Blake Works I and Nicolo Fonte’s Rite of Spring. Outside the studio, William enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
