Mikayla Gyfteas is from Anchorage, Alaska. She joined Ballet West Academy in 2020, became a Ballet West Academy Trainee in 2021, and joined Ballet West II in 2023. She received first place twice in YAGP regionals and was a candidate in YAGP finals three times.
