Volunteers at Ballet West play a vital role in the success of our company. There are many volunteer opportunities available and we can find an opportunity that will be a perfect fit for you. To learn more about volunteering at Ballet West please contact Camellia Rowland at 801.869.6917 or email@example.com.
Volunteer Opportunities Available:
Intermission Receptions: Receptions are hosted for our donors in attendance at the performance. Volunteers will be assisting with set up, providing directions, serving refreshments, and cleaning up. Volunteers must plan on spending approximately 2 1/2 hours at the theatre. Check in will be a half hour before the performance starts.
Ballet West Boutique: The Ballet West Boutique is open before and after each performance, as well as during intermissions. Volunteers assist customers and sell boutique merchandise. Volunteers must plan to work one hour before the performance, all intermissions, and 30 minutes after the performance.
Poster Hanging: Aid Ballet West in informing the public about our upcoming productions by hanging posters in your community. Volunteers needed to pick up production posters at Capitol Theatre and distribute them to be posted at local businesses. Lists of locations are available, or find your own spots.
Special Events: Special events are hosted several times throughout the year. They include the Gala, Fashion Show, Breakfast with the Ballet, Partners in Dance, and others. Volunteers help check in and host the event guests, distribute opportunity drawing information and take payment for drawing tickets, and assist the Ballet West staff with other event details. Volunteers must plan to work 2-3 hours, depending on the event.
Other volunteer opportunities are available.
