An Open Call to Artists: Shoe In 2012

Dreams are the reason we as human beings have accomplished so much.  They are the inspiration and vision we turn to during challenging times and it’s in this spirit that Ballet West presents Shoe-In 2010.

The 2010 Shoe-In project includes fourteen one of a kind pointe shoe inspired art pieces by local Utah artists.  Shoe-In is a Ballet West Ambassador sponsored project and all proceeds will benefit Ballet West’s educational and artistic programs. 

Ballet West invites local choreographers to submit proposals for the company’s 2010 Innovations program, May 22-29, 2010 at the Rose Wagner Theatre. Choreographers will be selected by Ballet West Artistic Director Adam Sklute and will have the opportunity to create a brand new work on Ballet West dancers.

Please submit your proposal in writing by October 9th, 2009
