Saturday mornings: 10:30 am-12:00 noon
Class Description
Classes are drop-in classes which means you do not need to pre-register to take class. You can start at any time. No audition required. Just show up as often as you like. 5 times a week, every other week, once a month, or once a year…whatever works for you! If you arrive late for class, please check with the teacher to determine whether it is still possible to join class.
Classes are given at a high Intermediate/low advanced level, but we have all different levels of dancers attending, from a more beginner/elementary dancer to professional dancers during their time off! We do have both men and women attending these classes. The atmosphere is very welcoming… most of our attendees are dancers who have studied dance at some point earlier in life and are coming back because they miss having dance in their life. Starting back can take time, so be gentle with your first classes back, if it hasn’t been a while and enjoy the experience once again! You can push yourself as hard or as easy as you like in these classes to make your time with us as enjoyable as you want!
Unfortunately, we do not offer a beginning adult level. If you have had no training at all, please contact us for other options (801-869-6912)… we may be able to help you find a place to begin your studies.

Directions and Parking
Directions into the Capitol Theatre to find the studio: As you’re facing the theatre, you’ll see an alley on the right(east) side of the building (the stage door light is at the end of the alley.) Walk down the alley about a third of the way to the door on your left with the maroon awning. Enter that door and take the stairs immediately on your right or the elevator (through the door on your left) up to the third floor. It will be obvious when you come to the third floor as you will see a long hallway that grants you access to the two studios on that floor. A restroom/dressing-room for men is located across from the large studio and one for the women is also located at the far end of the hallway around the corner. Lockers are not available for use. Please take all personal belongings (Including shoes) into the studio contained in your dance bag.
Parking downtown can be a challenge, but there are a number of options. Metered parking is available close to the studio but is only good for one hour. 2 hour meters are available on 200 South to the east of State Street which would put you only a couple of blocks away. There are a number of open air parking lots close the theatre as well as parking at the Salt Place entering from 200 South. UTA Trax also stops at the Gallivan Center which is right around the corner. Parking is two hours free on Saturdays downtown as well, even at one hour meters. During the month of December all meters are bagged and free for two hours. We do not validate for parking at any lots.
