Ballet West 2 is back after only one week off from Nutcracker. The dancers are working on our ‘Ballet West for Children program’ which will be seen next week in cities such as Logan, Cache, Brigham City, West Desert (which has only 8 students!) and Price. As usual two groups will go on the road performing in at least two schools each group per day.
We’re also working on Raymonda Pas de Dix and Swan Lake Pas de Trois.

Mark,
When will the cast lists be up for Madame Butterfly?
Ballet West II looks good.
Plus, I loved the pictures from the Dec. 24 production of Nutcracker. Now my dd wants to see it and a regular performance. She was thrilled that she saw John Frazer in Russian. As she said, “My favorite dancer in my favorite role!” He came to Ephraim Elementary when he was in Ballet West II. I think it was three years ago.
Hi Kate!
We try to get casting up for the public by at least two weeks before we open but it’s always a challenge. We have to put shows together very quickly and things change as we go along. For instance, even though we learned Butterfly in September and October, we promptly dropped it to get The Tempest on. Official rehearsals for Butterfly will start on the 19th of January and we will also begin learning GONG on that day.
So, please keep checking the site.
And I agree, Ballet West 2 looks fabulous!
