The Ballet West dancers will be hosting a blanket and coat drive during this season of The Nutcracker. In these hard economic times, we feel that it is very important to give back to the Salt Lake community that has supported us for so many years. Dancers from the company will be in the lobby of the Capitol Theatre for the hour before every Nutcracker performance to accept gently used coats and blankets. All items will be donated to local shelters and organizations such as the YWCA and the Road Home. This is a chance for patrons to donate to charity and to meet Ballet West dancers. Your generous gift may even be rewarded with an autographed Ballet West poster. This is a project that we hope will become a Ballet West Nutcracker tradition, so please help to make it a success.
