I am so excited about seeing you perform! I spent last summer at the Balletwest summer intensive and it will be wonderful to finally see you perform! My family is coming up to DC for a few days. I am going to get to see Boston Ballet perform too. That is where I am going in a couple of weeks for my summer intensive this year! I get to see my 2 favorite ballet companies on the same trip, very cool. I actually get to see 9 ballet companies perform! What a great way to start the summer off! See you soon! I recently found this website and you cannot believe the nostalgia!. I danced with BW from 1973-75. I am back in New York, but, at 60 not doing much dancing. But, I don’t believe we ever stop being a dancer at heart. Now I still work at the barre, bad knees and all. I danced while attending grad school at the U. I cannot believe how the company has grown!. I still think fondly of those days. i think we always remain dancers at heart. I am fortunate to be able to enjoy performances at NYC ballet and ABT. But, ballet West remains in my heart.
