Our artistic staff and dancers, production people, administration and marketing people will be regular contributors. This is also a terrific place to learn all about ballet, ask questions, give us your opinions and make suggestions. So when the mood strikes you, when you have a burning question that simply must be answered, or when you just want to get the latest inside scoop…come to the Ballet West Blog…we are waiting to hear from you!

  1. This is grand. I love following the movements of the ballet on and off stage. Some people get excited about rooting on their favorite sports team. Go Jazz, and such. My daughter and I find it far more thrilling to celebrate the growth and success of our Ballet West team. Go Ballet West! When a dancer over comes injury or perfects challenging choreography it is well worth doing a celebratory end zone dance, or screaming “Gooooooaaaaallllll,” at the tops of our lungs. Please keep the blog going. We will check in from time to time and root you on. We promise not to bring any of those big, “Ballet West is number one,” foam fingers to the Capitol Theatre though.

  2. Attended the June 12th performance at the Kennedy Center along with several other board members of Ballet West. The show was spectacular with our company opening with “Serenade”. It was well received by the audience with an almost packed theater. On the ticket were two other companies, Pennslyvania Ballet and Houston Ballet. What a spectacular program! I’m hoping to see new works this coming season in Utah. I think “Velocity” would be a challenge for our company, but doable. I think it would be a knockout for Utah audiences.
The preperformance reception at the Russell Senate Bldg was nicely handled and a fun experience for those in attendance.
We certainly can be proud of our dancers and our company. Adam gave a gracious, as always, welcome to guests.
