Ballet West rings in the holidays with Willam Christensen’s beloved production of The Nutcracker.  Set to Tchaikovsky’s incomparable score, with visually stunning costumes and sets, this magical storybook has enchanted Utah audiences for more than 50 years. On December 30 and 31, Back by popular demand, Ballet West will present the “Nutty” Nutcracker featuring the same choreography but with fun flourishes and whimsical surprises.

Program & Notes: 

Ballet West wants you to have the best possible Nutcracker experience.

  • Please plan to arrive at least 30 min before the show (due to weather, parking, traffic, etc.)
  • Parking downtown during the holiday season can be a challenge, so please plan accordingly.
  • There are No Refunds and/or Exchanges on group tickets ordered through Ballet West or on any ArtTix order.
  • In the event of Inclement Weather, the show does go on.  We do not issue Snow Day Exchanges.
  • Lost tickets are available for reprint at Will Call, the day of the show.
  • No Babes in Arms, No Lap Sitting allowed in the Capitol Theatre.
  • Free booster seat cushions are available at the coat check (first come first serve).
  • Plan to do some holiday shopping at our Nutcracker Boutique in the lobby.
