Training: After entering the United States, Sanford trained with/attended summer intensives on full scholarships with the French Academie of Ballet, Manhattan Youth Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Austin, Ballet Etudes of South Florida, and Dance theatre of Harlem. He also trained with renowned teachers and choreographers such as Nadege Hottier, Francois Perron, Dagmar Moradillos, Susana Prieto, Desmond Richardson and Marina Stravitskaya.
Favorite Roles: Paquita Grand Pas de Deux, George Balanchine's Who Cares?, The Nutcracker Grand Pas de Deux, and Peasant Pas from Giselle, to name a few.
Additional Information: Prior to joining Ballet West II, Sanford spent a year with the second company of the North Carolia Dance Theatre where he performed works by Alonzo King, Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Dwight Rhoden and Mark Diamond.
