Summer Intensive Tuition

After acceptance into the summer intensive, a non-refundable $200 deposit must be received by Mar 15, 2012 in order to secure placement in Ballet West Academy’s summer intensive.
This Deposit does NOT secure an early tuition rate. Tuition must be paid in FULL by March 15, 2011 to receive this early tuition rate!
Tution must be paid in full by May 15, 2012.

Additional Fees
Dorm students need to bring $150 for admission to the museums and field trips. Only dorm students are eligible to participate in these out-of-class activities.
Scholarship
A limited number of scholarships for the summer program is available based on potential and financial need. Room and board are not covered by scholarship. Scholarship applications will be available after acceptance into the program.
Refund Policy
Tuition (less $200 deposit) is refundable prior to May 15, 2012. Tuition is non-refundable after May 15, 2012. Please keep in mind that the study of dance, especially ballet, comes with the risk of injury. Those students who suffer a major and debilitating injury preventing any dancing after full payment of fees but prior to June 8, 2012 may submit a letter of explanation from a licensed physician; at that time, Ballet West Academy/University of Utah Ballet Department will consider a refund of tuition. All requests for refunds must be in writing to academy@balletwest.org . All refunds will be issued after July 31, 2012.
