Admissions

The summer program is designed for students 12-21 years at intermediate or advanced levels. Class placement is based on the technical needs of each student and is determined by the faculty. Any adjustments to class placement will be given during the first week of the program.

Because space is limited, students are urged to apply early. Click here to print the application. Every application must be accompanied by a $25 application fee and a $10 audition fee, as well as a 5"x 7" or 8"x 10" photograph of the student in first arabesque (ladies en pointe required for ages 14 and above) and tendu à la second en face. Photographs may be submitted by email to academy@balletwest.org. All checks should be made payable to Ballet West Academy. The $25 application fee and $10 audition fee are nonrefundable.
