Peff Modelski

MMe Peff Modelski MRDE GCFP SSS

MMe Peff was born in New York City and trained with Margaret Craske, Alfredo Corvino, at the Metropolitan Opera Ballet School, then Oubokov, Doubrouvska, Vladimirov, at the School of American Ballet, The High School of Performing Arts with Thalia Mara, David Woods and Stuart Hodes. She trained during her career with Danielian, Pereyaslavic, Charisse, David Howard, Hector Zaraspe and Willy Burmann.

As a professional ballet dancer she performed for four decades and was in the original company of Fiddler On The Roof for Jerome Robbins.

She taught professional ballet class at Steps in New York for 29 years.

She relocated to Chicago 6 years ago, and now teaches at VIsceral Dance Center.

She is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, a Master Registered Dance Educator and a Sounder Sleep Specialist. She gives 3 day PeffPointe Teacher Trainings each June.


She coaches and teaches young ballet dancers privately for national  and international ballet competitions, and maintains a private Feldenkrais practice. working with children with all forms of autism, brain damage, learning difficulties and ADD.
