Cati Snarr


As a choreographer, producer, teacher and professional dancer, Cati Snarr’s career experience has been varied and vast.

Most recently, Cati is the Children’s Ballet Mistress for Ballet West.  She is a principal teacher for the Ballet West Academy and on the Education faculty.  Cati has been an adjunct professor at the University of Utah in the Ballet Department, taught master classes at the Edinburg Festival in Scotland and for Central Ballet of London.  She has just been a producer for the Nike NCAA Midnight Madness Celebration 2011.

A Salt Lake City native, Cati began dancing with Ballet West.  When she was 15, she performed Sleeping Beauty at the Kennady Center in Washington DC.  She attended BYU while pursuing a professional ballet and theatre career. Her performances being both National and International, with credits including Myrtha in Giselle, Swanilda in Coppelia and Maria in West Side Story and many others.

As a choreographer, Cati has an Emmy Award for the 2002 Winter Olympic Ceremonies, has created many NFL Super Bowl halftime shows, Opening Ceremony for REAL Soccer Stadium, The Emmy Awards, and has been a part of Legally Blonde II (MGM), HSM3, Den Brother, Jonas Brother Concert Movie and Hannah Montana (Disney).
