Cati Snarr began her career at 15, dancing with Ballet West at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. During her ballet career she has danced many roles including, Myrtha in Giselle and Swanilda in Coppelia.  She is versatile in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap and Musical Theatre and has both worked and appeared in TV and film. Her talent in these areas has taken her across the US, Russia and Europe.  Her favorite roles have been Anita in Westside Story and on roller skates in Starlight Express.  Some of her choreography credits include: The 2002 Winter Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies where she received an Emmy Award for choreography, Singin’ in the Rain, The King and I,  Ceremonies for the Utah/Moscow Youth Games, to name a few and even helped cast the dancing in Legally Blonde II.  Throughout her career she has received National and International credits; with Ballet West she was invited to The Edinburgh International Festival in Scotland, where she taught dance in 20 primary schools. While in the UK, she was invited to teach Master Class for the Central Ballet of London. She continues to teach master class and choreography across the country for many National Conventions.  Cati continues her long association with Ballet West teaching in the educational outreach program “I CAN DO,” as well as the Ballet West Academy. She is also the Ballet Mistress for the Nutcracker children, and is on staff at the University of Utah and local studios.
