The Dancers of Ballet West - Ballet West II
JENNA HERRERA - Ontario, California
Jenna began her dance training at the Pasadena Dance Theatre under Cynthia Young Laurence Blake. She continued her studies at the School for American Ballet on full scholarship, and the Pacific Northwest Ballet School, also on full scholarship.
This is Jenna's second season with Ballet West II.
WHITNEY HUELL - Irmo, South Carolina
Whitney began her ballet training at Dee Crump School of Dance in Columbia, SC. Her training continued at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities under Stanislav Issaev and Robert Barnett. She then continued her studies at Indiana University where she graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Ballet and an Outside field in Psychology.
This is Whitney's second season with Ballet West II.
ALEXANDER MACFARLAN - Nashville, Tennesee
Alexander began his training at The School of Nashville Ballet under former Ballet West Dancer Adam Sage. He continued his training at Ballet Met as a trainee under Gerald Charles and Susan Dromisky.
This is Alexander's second year in Ballet West II.
KALEIGH SCHOCK
Kaleigh began her training at Faubourg School of Ballet in Hanover Park, IL. She then moved to New York city and continued training at Ellison Ballet- Professional Training program under the direction of Edward Ellison on full Scholarship. In 2007, Kaleigh participated in Youth America Grand prix where she placed in the top 12 in the New York City finals and was the recipient of a scholarship to the Royal Ballet School of England. In 2008, she competed again and placed in the top 12 for the Pas De Deux category. Prior to joining to Ballet West, Kaleigh performed as a supplemental dancer with the Cincinnati Ballet.
ADRIAN MICHAEL VELOZ - Anaheim, California
Adrian studied at the Anaheim Ballet under Lawrence Rosenberg and Sarma Lapenieks Rosenberg. He was a scholarship recipient of the Joffrey Ballet School, Ballet Austin and American Ballet Theatre summer intensive programs. At a younger age, Adrian trained under Charles Maple and Lorin Johnson and began ballet training at Saint Joseph Ballet, an after school program in Santa Ana, California.This is Adrian's first season with Ballet West II.
