Training: Dee Crump School of Dance in Columbia, South Carolina, followed by the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities under Stanislav Issaev and Robert Barnett. She then continued her studies at Indiana University, graduating in 2007 with Bachelor of Science degrees in both Ballet and Psychology.
Current Repertoire: Michael Smuin’s The Tempest; Willam Christensen’s The Nutcracker, Bronislava Nijinska's Les Biches; Michel Fokine’s Polovetsian Dances; Adam Sklute’s newly conceived and produced Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty; George Balanchine’s Serenade, Agon, Stars and Stripes, Chaconne and The Four Temperaments; the 2010 world premieres of Megan Furse’s Selcoutheries and Helen Pickett’s But Never Doubt I Love; John Butler's Carmina Burana; and the 2011 world premiere of Avichai Scher's White Noise.
Honors and Awards: Whitney appeared in the January 2011 issue of Dance Magazine as one of the "Top 25 to Watch."
