Kimberly Ballard

Born: San Bernadino, California
Joined Ballet West II: 2011
Training: School of International Ballet and Redlands Festival Ballet, the University of Utah Department of Ballet, and as a Trainee with the Ballet West Academy. Performed with Utah Ballet, University of Utah Character Dance Ensemble, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet and Redlands Festival Ballet.
Favorite Roles: Scheherazade Pas de Deux, Wedding Pas de Deux in The Sleeping Beauty, in Stevan Novakovich’s Makeshift Stages, and the Soloist in Jiang Qi’s Ripple.
Honors: Gerald W. Barnes Award for Excellence in Ballet in 2011.
Additional Information: Kimberly graduated Cum Laude from the University of Utah in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ballet Performance, Teaching and Character Dance. In December 2011, she will graduate with a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Ballet Performance from the University of Utah.
