Katie Critchlow

Born: San Diego, California
Joined Ballet West: 2006
Training: The San Elijo Dance Academy in San Diego, followed by Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle. She also participated in summer intensives at American Ballet Theatre and Boston Ballet.
Current Repertoire: James Canfield’s Equinoxe; Jonas Kage’s The Sleeping Beauty and Giselle; Willam Christensen’s The Nutcracker; Michael Smuin’s The Tempest; Mark Morris’ Gong; Bronislava Nijinska’s Les Biches; Michel Fokine’s Polovetsian Dances; in Adam Sklute’s newly conceived and produced Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty; the 2010 world premieres of Jason Linsley’s Growth and Grief, Aidan DeYoung’s Outward, and Helen Pickett’s But Never Doubt I Love; George Balanchine’s Serenade, Stars and Stripes, The Four Temperaments, and Chaconne; John Butler's Carmina Burana; Jiri Kylian's Sinfonietta; and the 2011 world premieres of Christopher Ruud's Trapped, Christopher Anderson's Intonation, Emily Adams' Regarding Us, and Avichai Scher's White Noise.
Additional Information: Prior to joining Ballet West, Katie performed with Pacific Northwest Ballet in Kent Stowell’s The Nutcracker; George Balanchine’s Symphony in 3 Movements, Serenade, La Valse and Jewels; and Ronald Hynd’s The Merry Widow.
