Jordan Richardson

Born: Boulder, Colorado

Joined Ballet West: 2011

Training: Boulder Ballet, followed by Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Graduate Program under the direction of Terrence S. Orr, Dennis Marshal, Marjorie Grundvig, and Janet Popeleski, continuing at Nevada Ballet Theatre as a Trainee under James Canfield and with Cynthia Gregory. She owes a special debt of gratitude to her mentor Valerie Madonia at the Joffrey Ballet.

Favorite Roles: Dark Angel in George Balanchine’s Serenade; Victor Plotnikov’s Flex and Pointe; and Apres Vous by Mary LaCroix in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil and Nevada Ballet Theatre. 

Honors: Attended summer programs on scholarship with Kansas City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet and American Repertory Ballet’s Princeton Ballet School.

Additional Interests: In her spare time, Jordan loves to cook.
