ANNIE BRENEMAN
West Palm Beach, Florida
Annie began dancing at age five. She received most of her training from Joan Miller’s Palm Beach Ballet Center. After graduating from Palm Beach County School of Arts High School, she went on to study with the University of Utah Department of Ballet. Annie performed with the Utah Ballet before joining Ballet West as an apprentice in 1998. She received her B.F.A. in Ballet from the University of Utah in 2001. In 2002, she competed in the USA International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi.
Performance highlights include The Mother in Christopher Bruce’s Ghost Dances, The Lilac Fairy in Jonas Kage’s staging of The Sleeping Beauty, the 2nd Violin in Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco, and the Waltz of the Flowers pas de deux in The Nutcracker.
